“Der Gedanke an Sommer im Winter” (eng. “The thought of summer in winter”)

is a risoprint zine made in collaboration with the artists Marleen Kölmel (IG @marleenkoelmel) and Mara Menzel (IG @maramenzel).

It is a collection of photos reflecting on melancholia, summer sentiments and places to remember.

Printed in A5 in December 2024 at the Riso Studio at Bauhaus-University in 2 colours (black, red) and bound by a red foil with a red elastic.

Notes and thoughts from me: This was my first collaborative project in this extent and it was both a learning-experience in (non-)perfectionism as well as sensing my limits. Time wise I never thought it would take as long, but we learn on the way. Book-Making is not easy!

I am still very happy with the result!
